      Colour: Bright ruby red Nose: Powerful on the nose, with aromas of ripe black fruits and toasted vanilla

      Taste: On the palate, the attack is round and opens with a beautiful tannic structure with well-melted oak. The finish is elegant, smooth and silky offering a nice compromise between finesse and power

      Pairing: Good to accompany red meats or meats cooked in sauce, game and cheeses

      Storytelling: This cuvée has been created in memory of the family ancestor, Mr L’Amouller, sailor on a sailboat named “La Favorite”. During one of his trips, he docked in Blaye in 1919 and fell in love with the vineyard of Bordeaux. The story of Château Frédignac starts from here, when Jean-Marie L’Amouller bought some vines.

      Producer: Chateau Fredignac Chateau Fredignac has been owned by the L'Amouller family for almost a century. In 2012, Vincent and Ludivina take over the family estate, becoming the fifth vignerons generation. Nowadays, the vineyard spreads on 20 Ha of an excellent clay and limestone terroir in the heart of the Blaye appellation. Driven by passion and the will to produce authentic wines. They follow an organically approach since 2010 both in the vineyard and in the cellar and obtained the ISO 14001 certification in 2014.
